#weareallmadeofstories . good morning, coffee lovers! this is our first stop in our #thetasteofbarcelona tour: specialty coffee. the place was chosen by andré, huge coffee fan, chef here in barcelona and my team partner for the tour. a while ago, andré had a specialty coffee training here and, since then, this café became one of our favourites. nito, our barista friend, is always happy to give us insights on origins, aromas, notes and various types of coffee, while drawing into our very fancy lattes or preparing an aeropress. the coffee they use here is carefully selected from small farms from around the world and roasted near barcelona. and there’s one more touch that we find unique, here: they pair their coffees with small bites that enhance its notes - and that’s why you’ll get berries for a certain coffee, chocolate for another cofee, nuts or honey… (to be continued) . . . #taste #enjoy #discover #barcelona #thetasteofbarcelona #coffee #specialtycoffee #coffeeroasters #latte #latteart #barista #thirdwavecoffee #tasting #citytour #eixample #barcelonacitytour

#weareallmadeofstories . . i strongly believe that stories - and especially beautiful stories on travelling and discovering new places - make our lives brighter. so i thought of sharing with you the story of a city tour we created – especially as the tour is based on my own discoveries on barcelona – as a tourist, many years ago, then as traveller coming back as often as possible, then as a short-term resident and finally, since over a year ago, as permanently based in barcelona. here we go. i am on #passeigdegràcia in the city centre, and this is where our tour begins. i am fascinated with the stories you can find here and, as architect, you can imagine how much i enjoy sharing the stories of the buildings, the pavement details, the decorations and all the tiny little details of the modernist age...
